Letter of Recommendation - Written 2006
To Whom It May Concern,
I first met Andre Mosqueda at the Blues Foundation's KBA (Keeping the Blues Alive) awards during the IBC (International Blues Challenge) 2002 in Memphis. Two years later Andre won the KBA for "Blues D.J. of the Year - 2004".
The Central Iowa Blues Society nominated him for his work with the society, promoting "The Blues" where he does a Blues Program at KGGO (94.9) called "Roadhouse", and all-emcompassing Blues Show of traditional Rockin' Blues with doses of Zydeco, Root's Rockin' and International Blues Programming.
His continued high ratings are a testimony to his devotion to this Americn Music genre.
He has expressed a desire to spread the message of the Blues internationally. I wish him well in his endeavor and hope to see him excel in programming the Blues.
